Job Summary
Livite is seeking a hands-on, energetic Kitchen Manager to lead day-to-day operations. In this pivotal role, you will run the floor every shift, manage and develop the team, ensure excellent guest service, and uphold our standards for food quality, cleanliness, and consistency. This is a working manager role, not a desk role — you'll be on the line, coaching in real time, and jumping in wherever the store needs you. We're a fast-growing, health-forward food concept known for fresh wraps, smoothies, and bowls, and we're looking for a proactive leader who is ready to grow into a senior operations role as we open additional locations in the future.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including service, food quality, cleanliness, and guest experience
- Run daily line checks to ensure stations are fully stocked, prepped, and ready before service
- Manage pace, priorities, and execution across FOH and BOH during every shift
- Jump in on any station as needed — line, register, prep, cleaning — and model the standard in real time.
- Coach, train, and develop team members; lead recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing skill-building
- Build and manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and time/attendance
- Oversee inventory management, including stock counts, ordering support, waste tracking, and receiving
- Ensure accurate cash handling, POS execution, and end-of-day reporting
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance throughout the store
- Maintain store presentation, organization, and cleanliness to the Livite standard
- Resolve guest issues quickly, professionally, and with hospitality
- Support the rollout of new menu items, process improvements, and special projects
Requirements
- 2+ years of management or assistant management experience in restaurants, hospitality, or fast-casual food service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and hold a high standard with care
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory management; experience with Toast and 7shifts a plus
- Solid grasp of restaurant math — labor, food cost, waste
- ServSafe certified, or willing to get certified within 30 days of hire
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in prep, presentation, and store maintenance
- Hospitality-minded, level-headed under pressure, and solutions-focused
- Reliable, accountable, and hands-on — willing to do whatever the store needs
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Authorized to work in the United States
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Benefits:
