Accurately pack baked goods into bags, boxes, or trays based on packing lists or order sheets.
Confirm product specifications, quantity, and labeling match customer requirements.
Handle all items with care to prevent breakage or damage.
Communicate with baking and logistics teams regarding shortages, substitutions, or product quality issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow all sanitation and food safety standards (HACCP/SQF).
Track and report waste in accordance with company protocols.
Assist in pre-labeling packaging, preparing order stickers, or staging delivery carts.
Comply with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
Perform end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.).
Adhere to timekeeping procedures including accurate clock-in/clock-out and break adherence.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or foodservice packing preferred but not required.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English (bilingual Spanish/English is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Work is performed in a bakery production facility with varying temperature zones (coolers, ovens, etc.).
Shift start times vary based on business needs; weekend and holiday availability may be required.
