Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Technician for the first shift to join our dynamic production team. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems, including automation, machinery, and process workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in manufacturing equipment, programming, and process engineering, maintaining high-quality standards and operational efficiency. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, industrial robots, and injection molding machinery to minimize downtime.
- Assist with project scheduling for equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD tools to support fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Program and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robot systems, and CNC machines to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Support process engineering initiatives by analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate across departments including engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to facilitate cross-functional communication.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and GD&T standards to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Assist in developing and updating schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for industrial equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and reducing waste.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with hands-on knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, machining operations, plastics injection molding processes, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and industrial automation including robot programming and PLC systems.
- Familiarity with process engineering principles aligned with ISO 9001 standards and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean manufacturing.
- Excellent data analysis skills for troubleshooting issues and optimizing production workflows.
- Mechanical aptitude complemented by experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, and assembly line operations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using GD&T standards; experience with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers is essential.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within cross-functional teams across diverse disciplines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Great work schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. some Friday's for overtime as needed.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
