Overview

Duties
- Assist in supervising and caring for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to foster strong relationships
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines and transitions
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other caregiving responsibilities as directed by lead teachers
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse and neglect
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork with staff
- Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus

Pay: $14.75 - $15.25 per hour
