Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and service various lock systems, including electronic access controls and traditional mechanical locks.
- Conduct routine inspections of security hardware such as CCTV cameras, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and surveillance equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot complex security system issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and remote access software.
- Perform cabling and electrical work related to low voltage systems and telecommunication setups with precision using power tools and hand tools.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including alarm system sales when applicable.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, system configurations, schematics updates, and incident reports.
- Assist in system design modifications or upgrades to enhance overall security infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to low voltage wiring and cabling.
- Hands-on experience working with CCTV cameras, sensors, IDS systems, and surveillance equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction-related hardware for installation tasks.
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards applicable to low voltage wiring projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
Pay: $12.50 - $25.00 per hour
