Job Summary: The Industrial OEM Sales Manager is responsible for securing multi-year "design-in" wins and driving revenue with major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This role focuses on selling custom and standardized blower motors, fan assemblies, and specialized air-moving technology into industrial, commercial HVAC, data center, and manufacturing market segments. The ideal candidate anchors long-term accounts by bridging customer engineering requirements with internal product development and manufacturing teams.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful technical B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, HVAC/R, electric motors, rotating machinery, or air-handling systems.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong technical understanding of electric motors, mechanical systems, and air-moving technology. Ability to read technical drawings, review duty points, and speak confidently with customer engineers.
- Territory Self-Drive: A self-motivated "hunter" mentality capable of managing a large, dual-country geographic territory with minimal supervision.
- Location & Travel Readiness: Based full-time on-site in Lincolnton, NC, with a valid passport and willingness to travel up to 50% across the US and Canada.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal, technical presentation, and deal-closing skills.
- Proven experience with modern CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Data-driven approach to territory management with the ability to prioritize opportunities and manage long-term sales
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Territory Expansion (US & Canada): Proactively identify, prospect, and win new OEM business while expanding existing key accounts across key US and Canadian target markets.
- Technical Consultation & Application Support: Work directly with customer R&D, application engineering, and purchasing teams to spec fan wheel, blower kit, and electric motor configurations tailored to their system requirements.
- Travel (~50%): Travel throughout North America (US and Canada) for face-to-face customer visits, technical evaluations, on-site meetings, and industry trade shows (e.g., AHR Expo).
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage quotes, technical reviews, commercial negotiations, and account development from initial contact through post-sale integration.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Maintain clear understanding of cross-border shipping, regulatory norms, and market dynamics across the US and Canada while coordinating with internal engineering and manufacturing teams in Lincolnton.
- Market & Competitor Insights: Track market trends in air movement, energy efficiency standards, and competitor activities to help shape regional sales strategies.

- Maintain and actively manage all opportunities, customer activities, project pipelines, and forecasts within the company CRM system.
- Drive disciplined pipeline development activities, ensuring accurate reporting of opportunities, project status, expected revenue, and customer interactions.
- Develop account growth strategies and proactively manage opportunity funnels to achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and pipeline reports to management.
- Technical Consultation & Application Support: Work directly with customer R&D, application engineering, and purchasing teams to spec fan wheel, blower kit, and electric motor configurations tailored to their system requirements.
