Job Summary:
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for building a global learning and development practice at Neapco. This will involve designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating company-wide learning and development initiatives that support business objectives, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. This role will partner with leader and cross-functional teams to identify learning needs, develop engaging learning solutions, manage learning technologies, and deliver programs that build technical, operational, and leadership capabilities across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct learning needs assessments to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
- In partnership with global functional leaders, develop learning strategies, curricula, and career-based learning paths for functional, technical, operational, and leadership roles.
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials based on best practices in adult learning principles, learning technologies, and instructional design methodologies.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support training programs, workshops, leadership development sessions, and technical training initiatives.
- Manage enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, learner assignments, reporting, user administration, and content maintenance.
- Develop measurement strategy to evaluate learning effectiveness and business impact through assessments, participant feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tracklearning participation, compliance, certifications, and program effectiveness through data analysis and reporting.
- Manage relationships with external learning vendors, consultants, and training providers, including supporting the RFP process, contract coordination, implementation, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain training documentation, job aids, facilitator guides, participant materials, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent global learning experiences
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and other functional teams to support strategic organizational initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Corporate Training.
- Expert level knowledge of adult learning theory, ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, and other instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering global learning solutions across multiple delivery methods, including classroom, virtual instructor-led, blended learning, and eLearning.
- Experience conducting organizational learning needs assessments and developing competency-based learning strategies.
- Experience designing curriculum for technical, operational, professional, and leadership development.
- Experience supporting global organizations and designing learning solutions that can be implemented across cultures and geography.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies.
- Experience using instructional design and authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other digital learning platforms.
- Experience managing multiple complex learning projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business priorities.
- Experience developing training for global engineering, manufacturing, quality, or technical environments preferred.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Educational Technology, , Education, or a related field required.
- Master's degree or relevant postgraduate certifications (Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, etc.) preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Travel expected to be about 10% and mostly domestic.
