POSITION OVERVIEW:
Catalytic Combustion is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Process Technician. The Manufacturing Process Technician is a Hands-on technical role responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing operations. This position collaborates closely with operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, and project management to resolve manufacturing challenges, optimize production processes and equipment, reduce waste and drive continuous improvements in quality, productivity and operational performance across the production floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines

Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, quality and environmental regulations

Support manufacturing by identifying process or product issues and implementing practical, sustainable solutions

Provide hands-on technical support to production personnel to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime

Assist in developing, documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes

Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards

Recommend process improvements to increase productivity, improve product quality and reduce waste. Communicate improvements and/or changes to appropriate departments

Lead and support corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) involving manufacturing processes and supplier and/or customer concerns

Support equipment upgrades, implementations, appropriate documentation, and training of staff.

Evaluate, develop and implement appropriate in-process and final inspection methods to improve product quality

Provide feedback and corrective actions to our Field Service team relative to issues/concerns they have with shipped products.

Assist in developing quality alerts and training/coaching with employees

Support Project Management by responding to customer concerns related to Manufacturing

Ensure documentation complies with company quality requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required

Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or a related technical field is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of recent experience in manufacturing operations is required

Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and manufacturing experience will be considered

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and appropriate documentation

Ability to work independently

Ability to travel as needed
