A construction company is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators and some General Labor for the civil/site development phase of a utility-scale solar project in Indiantown, FL.
✅ Projects scheduled to begin the first week of April — immediate hiring underway.
This position supports large-scale earthwork and site preparation activities prior to solar installation. Operators must be safety-focused, reliable, and experienced working on active civil construction sites.
Equipment Operation
- Loader
- Excavator
- Dozer
- Haul Truck
- Roller / Compactor
Civil Scope of Work
- Clearing & Grubbing
- Vegetation piling & burning
- Demolition
- Topsoil stripping and re-spreading
- Site cut/fill to solar tracker tolerance
- Access road construction
- Site drainage installation
- General earthmoving and grading operations
Requirements
- 5+ years heavy equipment operating experience (Required)
- Civil construction or site development experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Heavy Equipment Operator certifications will be required
- Ability to pass drug screening, criminal background check, and MVR check
- Must be hardworking and self-motivated
- Reliable transportation required
- Willing to travel if needed
