Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Framer/Drywall Hanger to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing metal stud framing and hanging drywall with precision and efficiency, ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of interior and exterior surfaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new constructions to remodeling and restoration jobs, contributing to high quality building finishes. Responsibilities
- Install metal stud framing according to construction plans, schematics, and blueprints, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment.
- Hang drywall panels securely using appropriate techniques, tools, and fasteners while maintaining high standards of finish quality.
- Perform drywall texturing, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve seamless surfaces and professional aesthetics.
- Execute drywall repair and water damage restoration projects efficiently, restoring surfaces to their original condition.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately carry out framing and hanging tasks across various project types.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting teams to coordinate project workflows effectively.
- Must be able to legally work in the U.S
- Must have reliable transportation to job site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal stud framing, drywall hanging, drywall repair, and related construction activities.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for safe operations on-site.
- Skilled in drywall texturing, plastering, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and other finishing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, fixture installation, door hanging, remodeling, and water damage restoration is highly desirable.
- Strong carpentry skills including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, masonry work, and general handyman experience.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
