Schedule: Flexible availability required, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
License Requirement: Valid Florida Class “D” Security Officer License required
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Patrol Officer to join our resort security team. The Patrol Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, residents, employees, and visitors throughout the property.
This position requires strong observation skills, professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to handle guest and employee interactions calmly and respectfully.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol resort grounds, public areas, parking areas, pool/beach areas, back-of-house areas, and other assigned locations.
Monitor property activity to help prevent theft, disturbances, safety hazards, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
Respond promptly to guest, resident, employee, and management requests involving safety or security concerns.
Report suspicious activity, maintenance hazards, incidents, injuries, disturbances, or property damage to management.
Complete accurate written incident reports and daily activity logs.
Assist with crowd control, guest direction, emergency procedures, and access control as needed.
Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the resort.
Support hotel/resort policies while providing courteous service to guests and residents.
Communicate effectively with management, front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and other departments.
Qualifications
Valid Florida Class “D” Security Officer License required.
Previous hotel, resort, condominium, residential, or security experience preferred.
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult or stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and good written communication skills.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk, stand, patrol stairways, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation
$25.00 per hour
