Job Description:
Copperfield Animal Clinic is seeking a reliable and dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The professional will be responsible for caring for and supervising animals in the clinic, ensuring they are fed, exercised, and kept in a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Feed, care for, and monitor animals for signs of illness or distress
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the animal treatment areas
- Walk dogs and provide exercise and socialization
- Keep accurate records of animal care
- Ensure animals are secure and comfortable
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Morning shift: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Evening shift: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Total Sunday hours: approximately 3 to 4 hours
- Sunday work is part of the regular schedule and is not optional
- Any shift swaps are only permitted with prior approval from management
