The Program Specialist reports to the Branch Director. The position is part-time with 25 hours during the week, Monday-Friday with no weekend work, 40 hours in summer. The primary function of the job is to implement and supervise activities within a specific area. Effectively implement, administer programs and services to members. Continually interact with all members by providing them with active supervision motivation and encouragement. Areas the program specialist will supervise includes: Arts & Crafts Room, Education Room, Games Room, Gym, Lunch Room, Multi-purpose Room, Playground, Recreation Area, Tech Lab, and the Teen Center.
This position will also have a direct focus on our Front Desk, which will mean they are responsible for managing membership registration and renewal, maintaining and updating the existing membership database and member files. Record daily attendance of members and programs. Provide accurate and up-to-date program, activity, and event information. Greet parents and visitors, maintain the pickup procedure, assist in taking program fee payments, and assist with questions. Maintain organization and cleanliness of members' pick-up area, lobby, and desk. Other duties may be assigned by the Branch Director.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening
- Must pass a drug test
