Shift Information: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (16 hours per week, and every other weekend and holiday)
About the Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares and places them in racks.

Sends racks of soiled dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares through the dishwashing machine.

Ensures that all items that run through the dishwashing machine are clean before putting items away.

Washes pots, pans, and heavily soiled items by hand and then runs them through the dishwashing machine.

Maintains dishwashing machine, including ensuing proper temperatures, throughout the shift.

Sorts and stacks clean dishes. Places clean items back on shelves or in drawers and ensures they are ready for service.

Performs cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule.

Cleans the dishwashing machine at the end of each shift.

Removes trash and garbage and places it in the dumpster.

Removes recyclable items and places in proper receptacle.

Personable and reliable with good communication skills.

Ability to work within a team and follow directions.
