We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about supporting both patients and clinical teams. This position serves as the nursing leader during assigned shifts, ensuring safe operations, exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and real-time support for nursing staff across the hospital.
As House Supervisor, you will:

Provide operational and clinical leadership during assigned shifts.

Serve as the primary administrative resource for nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and patient-centered care.

Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, staffing, and patient flow.
-
Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during crisis situations.

Support and mentor nursing staff through coaching, clinical guidance, and problem-solving.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
-
Monitor staffing levels and adjust assignments based on patient acuity and census.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote continuous clinical excellence.

Foster a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with Nexus' mission and values.
Required Qualifications
-
Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum of three years of acute care, behavioral health, rehabilitation, or neurodevelopmental nursing experience.

Prior charge nurse, clinical leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS Certification

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
