Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical dentistry, excellent patient management skills, and proficiency with dental technology. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care while working in a supportive and innovative practice.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all dental equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection prevention management protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety standards.
- Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing medical documentation and ensuring compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control standards.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure.
- Proven experience working in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments.
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar patient management systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures.
- Experience with dental x-ray techniques and proficiency in using dental instruments and equipment.
- Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures.
- Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention policies, medical documentation standards, and clinical confidentiality requirements.

Pay: $26.68 - $35.13 per hour
