The Center for Sleep Medicine is a progressive, AASM-accredited, 100% employee-owned sleep medicine practice seeking a full-time Overnight Sleep Technician Trainee to join our dedicated team in Glenview, IL.
Location: Glenview, IL (this role is performed 100% on-site) - willingness to travel to Libertyville as needed is also required
Schedule: 8 PM - 6 AM

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document patient activity and sleep stages throughout the night.
- Identify and record clinical events, including respiratory and cardiac activity.
- Assist in conducting specialized sleep tests (e.g., PAP titration).
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain sleep study equipment.
- Support accurate data collection and ensure a safe, comfortable patient experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- Someone who is ready to complete on-the-job training, invest in themselves, and successfully become an RPSGT within 1 year.
- Someone who has basic computer and data entry skills.
- Prior healthcare experience a plus
Required: willingness to travel to our Libertyville sleep center as needed, and availability to work weekends as needed.
Growth Opportunity - Certification Required:
- All Overnight Sleep Technicians must become Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs) within one year of hire. We provide the tools and support to help you achieve this.
- Opportunity to earn a higher wage upon becoming a RPSGT.
