Let me start by being clear: this is NOT your typical clock-in, clock-out job.
Fortified Prep Solutions is looking for serious, motivated people who want an opportunity to enter the tax industry, build clientele, develop a valuable skill, and create an additional stream of income during tax season.
NO TAX EXPERIENCE? THAT’S OKAY.
We are accepting:
- Brand-new tax preparers New PTIN holders Experienced PTIN holders Experienced tax professionals Qualified EROs / EFIN holders Sales professionals interested in entering the tax industry
We can teach tax preparation.
What we cannot teach is HUNGER, DISCIPLINE, WORK ETHIC and the willingness to go get what you want.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Tax season can be an extremely profitable season for someone who takes this business seriously.
This is a performance-based 1099 independent-contractor opportunity, meaning your income is not a guaranteed salary or hourly wage. Your actual earnings depend on factors such as your compensation structure, client volume, production, experience and individual performance.
For the right person who is willing to learn, market themselves, build clientele and WORK, this industry can create significant income opportunities during a relatively short season.
There are no guaranteed income results. But there is absolutely room to BUILD.
We’re not looking for somebody who wants to sign up, sit back and wait for money to fall in their lap.
We’re looking for GO-GETTERS.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You may be a great fit if you:
- Are coachable and willing to learn Are self-motivated Have an entrepreneurial mindset Are comfortable talking to and working with people Have sales, customer-service or marketing experience Are willing to promote yourself and build clientele Can follow systems and instructions Take professionalism seriously Are willing to complete required training Can work independently in a remote environment Understand that building a business requires effort and consistency Are willing and able to handle legitimate expenses associated with operating as an independent contractor Can successfully complete required background screening Take taxpayer privacy, compliance and accuracy seriously
Sales experience is a HUGE plus.
Tax experience is NOT required for the right beginner.

We don’t believe in simply giving somebody software and telling them, “Good luck.”
We want our preparers EDUCATED, PREPARED and CONFIDENT when tax season arrives.
ALREADY EXPERIENCED?
We want to hear from you too.
If you already have your PTIN and tax-preparation experience, there may be opportunities for you to plug into our systems, resources and support while continuing to grow your clientele.
EROs and EFIN holders are also encouraged to apply.

This is NOT a guaranteed hourly or salaried position.

You must also be able to satisfy applicable eligibility and background-screening requirements.
