Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth clinical operations.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols to maintain aseptic technique.
- Take high-quality dental x-rays and medical imaging using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Perform chairside assisting duties including taking vital signs, explaining procedures to patients, and providing exceptional patient care to foster comfort and trust.
- Support dental reception activities by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient management software efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments and ensuring all dental sterilization procedures are meticulously followed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and dental equipment enhances your ability to assist confidently across diverse procedures.
- Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic technique is required.
- Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise ensures adherence to safety standards for both staff and patients.
- Strong understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and medical documentation practices is necessary to uphold privacy standards.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
