Floridabama Auto Sales is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our growing team in Sheffield, Alabama.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with diagnostics, engine repair, transmission replacement, suspension systems, brake systems, steering components, air conditioning systems, electrical troubleshooting, and general automotive maintenance and repair.
Your expertise will help keep our inventory road-ready, support our service department, minimize downtime, and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
- Repair and maintain cars, trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and engine repairs.
- Complete routine maintenance services.
- Communicate repair recommendations with management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license required.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
