Summary/Objective
This individual will be responsible for recycling the facilities used plastics, cardboard etc. with the goal of creating as little waste as possible. Also responsible for the cleaning and scrubbing of warehouse and production floors.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and empty all recycle bins both plastic and paper in the facility
- Gather all discarded cardboard from trash areas
- Use the baler to create a bale of recycled material. After bale is completed use a forklift to place the bale on the recycle trailer
- Keep area around baler neat and clean
- Using the electric sweeper/scrubber to clean the warehouse and production floor
- Empty production trash bins, recycling as much as possible.
- Cleaning of production floor mats
- Assist with removal of garbage from the building
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license
- Must be able to complete safety training for the sweeper/scrubber
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand constantly, to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb up and down constantly on machinery
The shift for this role will be 11am - 8pm Monday through Friday with the possibility of weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
