Hotel Versey Chicago Lincoln Park is seeking a dependable, energetic, and service-focused Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team through the end of December. This role is essential in ensuring our guest rooms and public spaces are clean, well-stocked, and ready to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and back-of-house areas.
- Remove trash, soiled linens, and recycling throughout the hotel.
- Restock housekeeping closets and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service calls.
- Assist with moving furniture, setting up rooms, and completing special cleaning projects.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to management.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Work closely with the housekeeping team and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with the service elevator transporting guests to their desired floor.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout an entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, morning, evenings till 9:00 PM including weekends and holidays as needed.
