Job Duties:
- Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment
- Demonstrate safe and proper equipment operation to customers
- Inspect equipment before and after each rental
- Document equipment condition, damage, fuel levels and operating hours
- Notify the Front Counter and Operations Manager of damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Perform basic maintenance checks
- Clean, fuel and prepare equipment for the next rental
- Ensure equipment and attachments are complete and ready for use
- Communicate equipment availability and service needs to the Front Counter
- Keep the rental yard, equipment and work areas clean and organized
- Follow company safety standards and operating procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment preferred
- Willingness to learn about equipment operation and maintenance
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Ability to regularly lift and move approximately 50–70 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Customer-service aptitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail when inspecting and documenting equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
