Job Summary
Join our hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent (All Shifts) and play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences from the moment guests arrive. As the first point of contact, you will deliver outstanding customer service, ensure smooth front desk operations, and provide a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and courteous demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations through property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, ensuring all guest information is accurate and up to date.
- Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Provide guests with information regarding hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and area recommendations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and emergency protocols to support guest safety and satisfaction.
- Assist with night audit duties when required, including account reconciliation and report preparation.
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Build positive guest relationships by addressing concerns empathetically and ensuring a memorable stay.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and ensure seamless hotel operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, customer service, or front desk management is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with hotel reservation systems, including OPERA or comparable PMS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset.
- Strong knowledge of guest relations, customer service best practices, and problem-resolution techniques.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a proven ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel emergency protocols is advantageous.
- Prior hotel or resort experience is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a passion for hospitality and guest service.
