We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our inventory and logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, processing, and organizing of all incoming and outgoing merchandise. You will play a crucial role behind the scenes to ensure that inventory levels are accurate, the stockroom is immaculate, and the sales floor is consistently replenished to provide an exceptional experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on, physical work, operates with a sense of urgency, and possesses strong organizational skills to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments, verify delivery manifests for accuracy, and inspect merchandise for any damages or discrepancies.
- Inventory Processing: Ticket, sensor, tag, and log new merchandise according to company standards before moving items to the sales floor or storage.
- Stockroom Organization: Maintain a highly organized, clean, and safe stockroom environment to ensure inventory is easily accessible and correctly categorized.
- Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels on the floor and consistently restock merchandise to ensure products are fully available for customers.
- Inventory Audits: Participate in regular cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and stock reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory data.
- Loss Prevention: Adhere to all company loss prevention policies, safety guidelines, and inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, retail inventory, or back-of-house role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and safely lift and move merchandise boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail when verifying shipment numbers, SKUs, and tracking inventory logs.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with floor staff and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with inventory management software, handheld RF scanners, or retail Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Experience handling freight processing or visual merchandising layouts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends based on shipment schedules.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
