Radnor A Better Chance (ABC) provides talented students from historically underserved communities the opportunity to attend Radnor High School while living in a supportive, family-style residential program during the school year. Although we are a co-ed program, we are seeking a Female Resident Mentor who will live on-site in the girls’ quarters of the Radnor ABC house and play a key role in supporting all Scholars’ academic, social, and emotional success.
Resident Mentors work closely with the Resident Director(s) (RD), supervise evening study halls, provide tutoring, model positive behavior, develop relationships with the scholars, and help maintain a warm, structured household community. The primary focus of the role is positive role modeling, and encouraging academic excellence.
