ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Install, maintain, configure, upgrade and/or administer hardware and/or software independently in assigned single technology domain.
Technology Domain: an assigned area where technical work requires specific knowledge to evaluate, select, adapt and modify standard procedures in resolution of assigned tasks. Employees devise new approaches to problems encountered. The following are illustrative of a technology domain:
- Workstation support
- Network Administration
- Server Administration
- Business continuity
- Information Security
- Telecommunications and Network Connectivity
- SAN Administration
- Virtualization
2. Diagnose, analyze and resolve issues for customer(s) in assigned single technology domain. Conduct performance turning for hardware and/or software. Stay current regarding new technologies, standards and techniques. Respond to “production down” problems on 24-hour basis.
3. Evaluate and/or research hardware and/or software solutions and provide feedback to project team or higher-level staff. Assist in providing IT consultation and recommendations for implementation, ensuring services are not compromised. Provide technical IT leadership for integration of various related systems.
4. Demonstrate advanced level working technical knowledge of infrastructure components in the technology domain and receive general direction in order to evaluate effectiveness and risk of IT processes, recommend changes in IT procedures to meet customer needs, and evaluate and/or research hardware and/or software solutions in the technology domain and provide feedback to project team or management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of high school education or GED plus post-secondary education and/or training in Computer Technology or related field; and
- Four (4) years of related work experience; or
- Any combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum qualifications above.
- Preference given to those with advanced experience specific Avaya voice communications prioritize with deep knowledge of the Avaya Aura core suite, including Communication Manager (CM), System Manager (SMGR), and Session Manager (SM). Working Knowledge with advanced Office 365 applications including deep proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Administration.
Pay: $74,464.00 - $107,140.80 per year
