What You Need to Qualify (Education)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 12 college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD)
Your coursework must include:
- Child Growth and Development
- Child, Family, and Community
- Early Childhood Curriculum/Programs
- At least 3 units focused on Infant/Toddler Development, Care, or Curriculum
What You Need to Qualify (Experience)
Other Requirements
- Meet California licensing requirements
- Pass a background check
- Obtain TB clearance
- Complete required health and safety training
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it)
