The Paint & Stain Associate is responsible for mixing paints, applying coatings, monitoring finish quality, and performing touch-up work within the Pre-Finish Department. This hands-on role supports production operations by ensuring building materials are finished according to quality standards and customer specifications.
Success in this role requires attention to detail, consistency, safe material handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (overtime as business requires).
Starting Pay: $21.50/hr+
Key Responsibilities:

Mix paints and stains to match required color specifications for building materials.

Apply primers and finish coatings to prepared surfaces in accordance with production and quality standards.

Monitor painted and stained surfaces for flaws, inconsistencies, or defects and perform touch-up work as needed.

Hand-paint detailed areas and complete retouching activities to ensure a consistent finished appearance.

Safely handle and move large or heavy materials throughout the painting and finishing process.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and operational standards.

Support daily production activities and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or operations environments preferred.
