We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Bartender to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. As a Waiter/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately taken and served. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system or similar platforms.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to fine dining standards and presentation guidelines.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in their selections.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any needs or concerns that arise during their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area throughout service.
- Uphold all food handling safety standards and protocols to ensure guest health and safety.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, and service techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and team collaboration.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as OpenTable is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
