Staff Accountant
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented individual to join our exceptional team as a Staff Accountant. This position’s primary role is to assist the accounting team with the company’s financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monthly financial close process, exceptional analytical skills, and a willingness to grow and learn.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
· Accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll journal entries, general ledger entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
· Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements and reports
· Preparation of bank reconciliations
· Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
·Preparation of quarterly sales/use tax reporting.
· Handling of reimbursements
· Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting preferably within a multi-location environment.
- Public Accounting Experience is a plus
- Franchise Experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAGE Intacct a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
