Activities Aide - Part-time Position
The Villa at Marymount - Garfield Heights, OH
Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Every Other Weekend
We are seeking a compassionate and upbeat Activities Aide to support our residents through meaningful daily engagement. As an Activities Aide at The Villa at Marymount, you will have the opportunity to bring joy, connection, and purpose to seniors in a supportive and mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and assist with group and individual activities
- Escort residents to and from programs
- Create a positive, fun, and inclusive environment
- Support special events, holiday programs, and themed activities
- Document participation and maintain activity supplies
- Provide companionship and encouragement throughout the day
- Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working in a healthcare or senior-care setting preferred
- Friendly, patient, and energetic personality
- Ability to engage residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable attendance and professionalism
