Manufacturing Supervisor I
Location: City of Industry, CA
Shift: 3rd Shift
Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 DOE + Monthly Bonus
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor I to lead and coordinate production operations in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising hourly production personnel, driving efficiency and quality, and ensuring on-time delivery in alignment with production goals, safety standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet delivery deadlines, output goals, and budget targets
- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications; direct machine setup and adjustments as needed
- Assign and schedule work for production employees in coordination with other supervisors and manufacturing engineering
- Report production schedules and labor hour estimates to management; recommend overtime as needed to achieve goals
- Monitor equipment utilization and work quality; take corrective action when performance or output falls below standards
- Coordinate preventive maintenance reporting and support tooling and material management
- Ensure workers have accurate specifications, blueprints, and job orders; resolve shift-level manufacturing issues as they arise
- Implement and recommend corrective actions; drive full problem-solving cycles including root cause and prevention
- Utilize SPC, real-time production systems, and other shop floor tools to monitor and manage quality
- Support Departmental Action Plans aligned with long-term company and department objectives
- Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement waste elimination and efficiency improvement opportunities (EMS, recycling, scrap reduction)
- Carry out full supervisory responsibilities: interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, coaching, and disciplinary action
- Maintain a working knowledge of ISO policies, procedures, and directives
- Implement and uphold all company safety programs; ensure HSE compliance across the assigned shift and team
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of Lead or Associate Supervisor experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 2–5 years of manufacturing experience overall
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; proficient with shop and measuring tools
- Familiarity with SPC, shop floor systems, and timekeeping software (e.g., KRONOS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of ISO policies and quality management procedures
- Evidence of US Person status required under ITAR

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
