American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a Sleep Diagnostic Center, working Monday through Friday day shifts with no weekends or holidays required.

Work is performed in a Sleep Diagnostic Center
-
Focus on diagnostic testing for sleep-related disorders including polysomnography (PSG) and other sleep monitoring studies
-
Analyzes physiological data including EEG, EMG, ECG, and respiratory parameters
-
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-
No weekends and no holidays required

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
-
RPSGT, RRT-SDS, or CRT-SDS credential required
-
BLS required (may be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Less than one year of job-related experience is acceptable

High school diploma or GED required; certificate or associate's degree in polysomnography or respiratory therapy preferred

Strong knowledge of sleep physiology, sleep disorders, and diagnostic criteria

Proficiency with polysomnography equipment, sleep study software, and EHR systems
-
License required if applicable

Analyze and interpret PSG data including sleep stages, sleep architecture, respiratory events (apneas, hypopneas), movement disorders, and other sleep-related phenomena using AASM scoring criteria

Generate comprehensive sleep study reports and collaborate with sleep physicians and clinicians to communicate findings and support patient care decisions

Maintain accurate records using EHR or specialized sleep study software

Participate in quality assurance activities including inter-scorer reliability checks and peer review sessions

Assist with patient setup, education, and support during sleep studies to ensure comfort and compliance
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and sleep medicine specialists
