Independence Rehab is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Meadow Brook Rehab, Mount Olympus Rehab, and Spring Creek Healthcare Center. All three are located on the southeast side of Salt Lake City, UT.
We offer 5-10 hours per week for this position.

New therapists receive:

Strong integration and onboarding

1:1 training for documentation and evaluations

Customized clinical training based on your experience

Ongoing mentorship and competency support when needed
As the OT, you'll treat a geriatric population across SNF/Transitional Care Unit, including:

Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
-
Transfer training (all levels)
-
Fall prevention and safety training
-
Treatment of clinically complex patients
-
Discharge planning and care coordination
-
Supervision of a COTA (as needed)

Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff

Current Utah OT license in good standing

Degree from an accredited OT program
-
Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population

Ability to supervise a COTA

SNF experience preferred - but not required.
