Blanco Electric is a Houston based electrical engineering and construction service company with an immediate opening in Houston, TX for a Journeyman Electrician.
Role Responsibilities:
- Train the employees.
- Conducting accident investigations and recommending corrective action based upon incidents and/or trends.
- jobsite inspections and reports.
- Daily JSA Inspections of each jobsite.
- Onboarding (Safety)
- Maintain up-to-date certifications in the QR Code system and create badges for employees.
- Inspect the GEOTAB system daily to verify the functionality of the cameras and ensure that the drivers comply with company policies and the speed limit.
- Provide PPE to team members, reorder it when necessary to maintain stock.
- Prepare safety documentation for each specific job.
- Incorporation of new drivers, verification of the driver's license (HR), and assignment to the insurance policy.
- Leadership skills and strong sense of responsibility
Requirements:
-Active TX Journeyman OR Masters electrical license. - **MUST HAVE AT LEAST ACTIVE JOURNEYMANS LICENSE**
- Authorized to work in the United States
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, basic physical, background check, and DL check.
-Have a flexible schedule – be willing and available to work overtime or weekends if needed or required for emergency jobs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
