American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a night shift schedule with every other weekend commitment.

Hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required

No on-call requirements

Floating within the facility within scope of practice as needed

9-week contract

Active GA or Compact RN license required

Minimum 1 year of PCU or relevant nursing experience required

All required certifications must be current and copies provided for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Local candidates are accepted for this position

RTO is capped at 7 days and cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval

Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as one)

No alternate shift or scheduling requests are permitted — the listed shift is firm

Candidates must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler

Full compliance with onboarding requirements is required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
