We are looking for a proactive, results-oriented communicator to manage our local calendar and convert raw leads into scheduled appointments.
Compensation
- Base Pay: $15.00 per hour
- Target Earnings: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (Includes performance-based bonuses)
- Bonus Structure: Earn $10–$25 for every appointment you set, plus an additional $100 for each resulting in-home sale.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Appointment Setter your main priority is to maximize calendar bookings and customer show rates. You will work efficiently, think on your feet, and guide the customer conversation:
- Manage the Sales Calendar: Review online bookings and call scheduled appointments to ensure they are confirmed and fully filled.
- Follow the Scripted Process: Verify homeownership, confirm all decision-makers will be present, and identify customer project needs or desires.
- Lead Management: Focus outreach on raw and new leads through CRM systems, using a thorough follow-up process.
- Optimize Opportunities: Proactively move opportunities to sooner timeframes to optimize scheduling for our sales team.
- CRM Upkeep: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all interactions, notes, and results in our database.
Requirements and Workspace Criteria
- Quiet Home Office: A professional work environment free from background noise.
- Hardware: A reliable personal computer and a high-quality headset.
- Training Availability: Ability to attend in-office training sessions at our local office during your initial onboarding period.
- Communication Skills: Ability to speak persuasively, intelligently, and clearly while holding the customer's attention.
- Professional Attitude: A respectful, open, and courteous communicator with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable Transportation: Required for your in-office training sessions.
- Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in customer service, sales, call centers, or setting appointments (home improvement or solar is a plus).
Job Schedule & Shift Breakdown
This is a dynamic position with structured daily calling shifts. Our outreach is organized into three daily calling waves designed to reach prospects at the best times:
- Morning Wave: Starts at 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Wave: Mid-day outreach window
- Early Evening Wave: Prime-time catching prospects at home
