Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mason Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will provide essential support in masonry and construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations on-site. Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to create solid foundations and structures
- Support rebar installation efforts to reinforce concrete elements according to project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or formwork
- Help with tile laying, stucco application, plastering, and other finishing tasks for aesthetic and structural quality
Qualifications
- Prior construction site experience or apprenticeship in masonry or general construction preferred
- Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing, rebar installation, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills such as caulking, pressure washing, and making mud
