PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answers office telephones and respond appropriately to request for information or direct the caller to the person(s) with proper information.

Greets all visitors courteously, determine their needs, check appointments, maintain visitor logs, and direct or escort them to proper person.

Types, copies, collates reports, memos, and correspondence for the Principal.

Processes visitors through Raptor system.

Receives, sorts, and distributes faxes and all incoming/outgoing mail (interoffice and USPS)
-
Serves as the first point of communication for new student enrollment, registration, and transfer of records.
-
Processes new and returning student registrations and proof of residency.
-
Assists Principal in maintenance and confidentiality of all students temporary and permanent records.
-
Assists Principal in coordinating daily substitutes.
-
Prepares and submits all purchase orders and work orders, as assigned.
-
Orders and maintains all building supplies.
-
Collects and deposits all monies for school related activities, fees, etc. following the district's procedures.

Assists with field trip coordination, including collect and deposit field trip money.

Schedules building and room requests.
-
Attends and participates in assigned meetings and trainings, as directed.
-
Answers questions and resolves situations involving students, parents, public, and staff through the knowledge of District policies, rules, and regulations.

Operates a variety of office equipment including a copier, fax machine, two-way radio, computer, camera system, etc.
-
Works collaboratively with the district Family Liaisons.

Assists in the health office, as needed.

Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Eleven-month year with salary to be established by the Board of Education. (Range: $32,000-$35,000)
EVALUATION:
The Principal will serve as the evaluator with performance reviewed annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board Policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
