W. Silver Recycling is one of the nation's leading recyclers, with a presence covering the Southwest United States and Mexico. W. Silver Recycling has been operating for over 100 years servicing the unique by-product needs of manufacturers in the southwest United States and Mexico.
We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Supervisor for our growing organization in Santa Teresa, NM. This unique position supports our operations shipping department. Responsible for labeling and reviewing incoming material from production area to register available inventory. This position is also responsible for inspecting the quality of the material and supervise loading to ensure proper loading according to DOT regulations and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess the quality of being detail oriented, familiar with warehouse operations and is computer literate.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and reviews with the team the daily shipping schedule and calendar
- Review and approves all loading sheets, photos and quality of packaging
- Manage all Inventory Control activities and results for all non-ferrous materials as Finished Goods
- Ensure all trailer boxes and ocean containers are logged in ROM upon arrival and are loaded promptly with the appropriate material and meeting the customer’s guaranteed minimum requirements without exceeding the max capacity
Qualifications & Competencies
- Forklift driving experience
- Dynamic communication abilities, persuasive and energetic
- Bi-lingual; English/Spanish (speak, read, write)
- Flexibility; Can-Do attitude
- Well organized; multi-tasking; time management
- Professional, reliable and self-directing work habits
- Computer literate: Email, Microsoft and/or Google suite
- 2+ Years of experience with related type job functions
- Training will be provided
