About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Mechanic Shop Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist mechanics with day-to-day tasks, maintain a clean and organized work area, and help ensure efficient workflow in the shop. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive or diesel repair industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with removing and reinstalling Transmissions
- Move, clean, and organize tools, parts, and equipment
- Perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, etc.)
- Help diagnose and prepare vehicles for inspection and repair
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
