Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Site Coordinator / Tennis Coach to support sports activities and coaching programs at our sites. This role involves organizing tennis lessons, communicating to stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless and safe, engaging environment for participants of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Administration and tennis.Sports coaching, child development, and physical education, with a passion for fostering teamwork, skill development, and positive behavior among students. Duties
- Plan and deliver tennis coaching sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players
- Supervise children and students during activities, ensuring safety and proper behavior management
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate teaching physical skills, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Oversee facility maintenance related to sports equipment and safety protocols
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding participant progress and program updates
- Lead by example in promoting health club standards and encouraging active lifestyles
- Assist in organizing special events or tournaments to foster community engagement
- Proficient in Google Sheet, Google Docs and Excel
- Collaborate with Director of Programs and Program Manager to meet program needs
Experience
- Prior experience in tennis or physical education instruction is highly desirable
- Background in teaching or working with children in childcare or educational settings
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment
- Proven ability to work with students of diverse ages and skill levels
This role requires a motivated individual committed to coaching tennis and supporting the admin team. The Site Coordinator / Tennis Coach will play a vital part in creating an seamless tennis experience.
Pay: $25.43 - $33.00 per hour
