Summary
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills and ensuring precision in manufacturing processes. Your core skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and machining will be essential for interpreting specifications and producing high-quality components. With premium skills in CNC programming and GD&T, you will enhance production efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, your relevant skills in tooling and lean manufacturing will support continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Quality Control and Inspection – Using advanced measuring tools to verify product dimensions, ensuring parts meet specifications, and applying quality standards.
- Programming and Process Improvement – Collaborating on CNC programs, using CAD/CAM software, recommending technical advancement.
- Mentorship and Training – Training junior machinists on techniques, safety, and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
