Caregivers Needed – San Fernando Valley
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
Location: San Fernando Valley, CA

Schedule: Weekday, weekend, daytime, evening, and overnight shifts available

Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Caregiver Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary depending on each client’s care plan and may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing brief changes and personal care
- Assisting with walking, transfers, and fall prevention
- Preparing simple meals and encouraging hydration
- Providing medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Providing transportation and assistance with errands
- Offering calm redirection when needed
- Observing and reporting changes in the client’s condition
- Maintaining professional boundaries
- Keeping personal cellphone use to a minimum during shifts
Requirements
- California Home Care Aide registration required before starting work
- Current TB test
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- CNA certification is welcome and encouraged
- A CNA license alone does not replace California HCA registration
- Caregivers without an active HCA registration must be willing to obtain one before starting work
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance when driving is required
- Dependable, punctual, compassionate, and professional
- Clear communication skills
- Must meet all hiring and background-check requirements
