Help Wanted: Warehouse & Delivery Driver
We’re a local glazing contractor seeking a reliable Warehouse & Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and deliver materials to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Load, unload, stage, and organize materials in the warehouse
· Pick/pack orders and verify counts before delivery
· Make deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures and maintain delivery paperwork
· Use hand and power tools as needed to assist with basic tasks
· Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures
· Load and unload crates, equipment (e.g., welders, floor cranes), and miscellaneous materials on and off trucks
Qualifications
· Experience in a warehouse, delivery, or similar role preferred
· Knowledge and safe use of common hand/power tools
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to lift and move materials as required for deliveries/warehouse work
· Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
· General construction knowledge and basic mechanical skills
· Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug test
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
· Must pass a background check (position requires eligibility for security clearances)
· U.S. citizenship required
Travel Area: Maryland, DC metropolitan area, and Virginia (local travel required)
Position Type: Full-time, work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Pay & Benefits
· $22.00 to $25.00 hour with benefits (Health & Welfare + 1 week PTO)
· $27.00 to $30.00 hour (no benefits)
