What You’ll Do

General Accounting
- Own job costing and unit price billing processes
- Lead process improvements, automation, and system optimization (Foundation Software)
- Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger)
- Ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial records
- Perform reconciliations and support month/year-end close
- Prepare and file monthly & quarterly tax reports
Financial Reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to support key business decisions
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and ESOP reporting
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting and payroll regulations
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation
Collaboration & Improvement
- Partner closely with VP of Finance & CFO on planning initiatives
- Support system enhancements and rollout of additional accounting modules
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5–10 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
- Strong accounting systems knowledge & advanced Excel skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Preferred:
- Experience in construction, industrial services, or project-based accounting
- Familiarity with Foundation Software and related platforms
- Proven success improving financial processes through technology
