What You’ll Do
As a Post-Op CosMed Nurse, you’ll play a key role in helping patients recover safely and comfortably after surgery. Your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring patients’ conditions, assessing their needs, and providing thoughtful, personalized care
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care, complication prevention, and healthy recovery habits
- Observing symptoms, communicating clearly with surgeons, and collaborating on individualized care plans
- Performing routine nursing procedures (vital signs, injections, drain care, wound management, etc.) and maintaining accurate documentation
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by the surgeon
- Responding calmly and effectively in any urgent situations
- Creating a warm, supportive, and compassionate environment for patients and their loved ones
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring and professional. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an RN in cosmetic/plastic surgery, post-operative care, PACU, or similar settings
- Excellent knowledge of nursing procedures and emergency care
- Strong understanding of health and safety guidelines (sanitation, infection control, etc.) with a commitment to following them consistently
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills — you’re a natural team player who also thrives working independently
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Active RN license, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma (BSN preferred)
