As the District Manager for our Eastern Wisconsin district, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple retail stores within your assigned district(s). You will play a key role in driving sales growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service across all locations.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide leadership and direction to store managers and staff within the district.
- Set clear expectations and goals for individual stores and ensure they are aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and mentor store managers to maximize their potential and drive career growth within the organization.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share within the district.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product expansion and promotional activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all stores.
- Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee store operations, including but not limited to, merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and staffing.
Customer Service:
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the district, emphasizing the importance of providing exceptional service at every touchpoint.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and implement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between corporate headquarters and stores within the district.
- Communicate company updates, policies, and initiatives to store teams and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with other district managers and cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the automotive parts industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned district(s) as needed.
