Position Summary
The Day Program Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the overall quality, compliance, and growth of the Day Program. This role oversees daily operations, staff performance, member engagement, and adherence to DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience working with DDD programs is highly preferred (but not required).
Key Responsibilities
Management & Leadership
- Interview, hire, and onboard new providers based on program needs
- Ensure proper training, orientation, and ongoing coaching for all staff
- Enforce company policies and the Employee Handbook
- Conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations (with proper documentation and witnesses)
- Maintain appropriate provider-to-member ratios in accordance with DDD guidelines
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules
- Ensure all compliance paperwork is collected and submitted accurately
Program Development & Growth
- Promote and grow the Day Program through community outreach, social media, and events
- Conduct tours for prospective members and families
- Explain program services, schedules, and activities
- Ensure all required authorizations (DTA, TRA) are in place before services begin
- Drive enrollment growth until program capacity is reached
Program Oversight
- Develop and distribute a monthly activity calendar including:
- Daily activities, crafts, and optional sports
- Alternative activity options
- Incorporate member input into programming and document appropriately
- Manage program budget and purchase supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure full compliance with DDD regulations for members, staff, facility, and vehicles
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including:
- Teaching Strategies and progress reports
- Attendance logs, medication logs, transportation logs, and incident reports
- Submit required reports within deadlines (quarterly and monthly as applicable)
- Review staff documentation for quality and accuracy
- Ensure incident reports are completed and submitted within 24 hours
- Conduct fire drills and maintain facility compliance standards
Transportation Oversight
- Hire and manage staff responsible for transportation
- Create and maintain transportation routes and schedules
- Communicate with families regarding pick-up and drop-off times
- Adjust routes and staffing as needed to ensure safety and efficiency
Vehicle Maintenance
- Ensure all vehicles meet DDD compliance standards
- Schedule routine maintenance (oil changes, tire service, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and safety equipment (first aid kits, insurance, registration, gas cards)
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Experience in a Day Program or similar setting preferred
- DDD experience is highly welcomed
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of compliance and documentation practices preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
